Tools for Coping with Life

Many people wonder “What’s wrong with me?” And certainly, when looking at the behavior of some people in our society today, it seems an important question. Focusing on what is wrong with an individual is what we call a weakness focus. This means we look primarily at behaviors that are causing us problems in our work, school, family, and personal relationships, behaviors that are causing us stress and suffering. But focusing too much on weaknesses can be debilitating. Fixing what is wrong does not automatically bring about well-being. So let’s focus on building well-being.
